Hi Guys / Gals,

Hope you are all good.

Had my blue ghibli diesel for about 6 months now. Enjoying the beauty and learning a lot about it.

Thinking about a replacement in 6 months or so...more than likely will be another maserati.

What I found about owning this baby is that it is very difficult to find someone to work on it. My local dealership is 65 miles away. I have a maserati specialist within 20 miles however they only deal with classics.
Recently i've found BDM - seem quite good so fingers crossed.

I've come from a Jaguar XF. It is incredibly similar in terms of drive although lot more responsive. The only gripe i find about this car is the driving position. Out of all the cars i've owned, it has the worst driving position ever :(

Is the steering wheel in the Ghibli not adjustable? Bit perplexed why you can't find a good driving position with electric seats and wheel. Set your legs up first, back second and adjust wheel to wrist distance third. Done.

To be fair, my mate made the same complaint about his but I didn't interrogate further

It doesn't help the fact that I'm only 5ft4 haha!
Funny thing is I drove the new model of the ghibli and that has a lot better driving position.

Hi Mick, yes it is daily driver. Racking up the miles very quickly.

M isn't about that height and seems to be able to get a decent position. There are so many different adjustments it does take a while though. Just keep at it and hopefully you'll find something that works.

That said I couldn't for the life of me find a comfy position in the Merc C class I had for a week. Awful seats in that.

I'm managing around 20k/year in my S. In truth I've done 28k since Easter last year. Can't stop driving it lol
