Lotus update, for those interested. [Videos]

After a delayed start to the Le Mans trip resulting in the man that built the engine actually delivering it to me in France, the car took me from Le Mans, all over the Spanish mountains and back again. It's now going to be collected for its first service and to sort out a few little niggles. Considering the chap was working 15 hour days to try and get it done on time it's amazing that it did it without missing a beat.

I made a couple of vids that some of you might like, one of them is of the dials (made on my rather long driveway, not the public road...) and the other is from behind. It kicks out quite a bit of smoke when bouncing off the limiter or flat out, but apparently that's normal.

Don't know how to get the video displayed on the page rather than just a youtube link?

It certainly does shift! The funny thing is that on the mountain roads or the motorways for that matter, you rarely use all the power. Half throttle is still pretty quick and full throttle a bit like a "push to pass" function.

It is surpassing expectation, although I'm already getting used to the power a bit...

Honda?

I passengered in a supercharged VTEC S1 Elise a few years back and it was quite the experience compared to my lowly Rover one, must be crazy fast in comparison!
