Navtrak removal??

I think the internal Navtrak battery is draining the main battery on the GranT.

Navtrak (Vodafone now) want £150 for a "deinstall call out" Or £500 for a new one.
I had a quick word with Matt at Giallo who says the trackers are very easy to get to on the Gt, but he thinks the car won't start if the unit is disconnected.
Any one had experience of removal??

Eeerm...

Get back onto Navtrac and explain to them that their system is killing your battery and you will bill them for a new one and Maserati fitting at £140/hr or they can come to you and fix it for free or remove it also for free...!

Cheeky buggers!

No they said it is out of warranty..... And Navtrak sold to Cobra who sold to Vodafone , so they are not intersted in doing anything for free on an 8 year old unit.....

I'm sure if you explain with a CC to the CEO that their equipment is faulty and is damaging your £****** valued vehicle as a result they would reconsider!
