Indeed. As I have mentioned, you can get two adults or even two adults and a kid in the back of the two seater, but there are no belts and it is very irresponsible. Having said that I've done it a couple of times...

The roll cage would make it harder, but not for kids. I'm sure the ISO seatbelt threads are in the back somewhere?? Has anyone looked? That might make it a little less stupid to shove kids back there....

Or how about adding nice Sparco carbon front buckets to a 4 seater? They are the OEM makers. http://www.sparcousa.com/product/spx Maybe that would make sense if/when the 4 seaters go bellow 2 seater prices.

Now I like that idea.....that would def give the 4 seater that special 2 seater feeling when you drop into those buckets. It's the one thing I wish Maserati had offered as an option on the 4 seat car.

Agreed, the closest they got on the 4 seater was the carbon back which was only cosmetic and not snug like the 2 seater which does feel a very special place to sit

I have seen the light - my first Maser was a 4.7 QP V S which I loved, then went through 2 GranTurismo 4.7S and then a Ferrari FF and I now find myself back to a 2010 Maser QP V GTS -FMSH 20k miles in black - cant wait!

But I have a couple of questions (yes I have read the forums but the maseratiforum.co.uk is down at the moment) and I am UK based (Herts)

Sat Nav - Seen that some have had the Kenwood Touch screen installed - but that was many years ago. If I want to upgrade in a similar way, who are the guys in the UK to contact? Any recommended systems?

Trickle charge - Seen that some use a CTEK charger via the boot's 12v point. On 2010 QP GTS is there a 12V socket that can be used to supply a charge via a trickle charger?

Servicing - The car is 7 years old but has a full Maserati Service history - Do I continue with this or use a very well known (Scottish sounding) Independent Maserati specialist 12 miles away? If I go independent with, lets call him Bill, will this affect residuals over say using HR Owen or similar?

That's all for now - pick her up on Sat 22/7/17

Sat Nav - wise up use google maps - spend the money on exhaust / valves
Trickle Charge - get a C-tek with comfort connector (LEDs on connector indicate state of charge) fixed to battery. The boot 12v socket disarms 30 minutes after ignition off
INDIE - Bill McGrath do my car. If you are at all nervous about a private seller, get main dealer service stamps, and work done at McGrath.

BTW the QP Sport GTS is the best handling / riding big car out there. Non-Skyhook is the way forward.

...and make a blind / template for the rear view mirror that hides the rear seats? ;)
