Don't remember I'm afraid. I like the Fuji but not sure about that interior. It might work nicely in Dubai. Wheels would look better darker.

If anyone is interested in this car, I can supply the inspection report from Emblem. I note also that they've dropped the price by 4k since I was looking.

I don't think any inspection report from emblem is good reading but it depends what you consider acceptable.

Have they found the service history by ringing round specialists and dealers

That dealer is round the corner from our Hitchin office as well so I'm in the Hitchin office once a week if anyone wants me to take a look.

Not quite full service history. Or full service history in the sense it has documentation for the services it has had. Although not remotely inline with manufacture's schedule.

Didn't Newton also look at this one?

Apparently (if it is the one he looked at) the paint was in an awful condition.
Maybe why the price has dropped 4k

If it is the one I looked at, the tell tails was the non-functioning boot button and missing boot liner as a starting point, yes the paint was grim and there were many minor factors against it not least the missing early services. The mileage seems correct for the one I looked at, it was Dem's neighbour's car.

I was wondering if is a 'phantom' service in there as the car had been looked after by DL and was offered to Richard G if my memory serves me right and it is the ex Malborough car.

I am sure that particular car had a 4 year gap between the first and second service.

Does it really matter now that it may have missed a service 8 years ago? I'd be more concerned in its recent history and current condition - and if that stacks up it might make a good buy at near to the new asking price.

Not really but if I had a choice of one with full history as per schedule or one without the difference in condition would have to be marked.

I tend to agree Ewan.......doesn't make it a bad car if it missed a service 8 years ago...

Depends, it never had its first service until 23,5k miles. I've serviced every single car I e had once a year. Clearly not looked after so unless you were desperate why would you bother!!

If you want one in the launch colour scheme. I looked at one the same in Germany, tattier than that one and possible chassis damage. Not many about.

It was not one service it missed but 4 annual services... if it had just been one it would have been on my drive two years back when it first came up from its late owner. RIP.
