Quail at the track? Sounds like a train delay announcement. It certainly conjurs up some surreal images.

After the prior few days anything could have been possible.

I was looking for something on my phone yesterday and came across a semi comatose Rob dancing (whilst seated) in that pub/club we commandeered.
Funny, funny week!

Not sure I should upload it here though!

I will more than likely do my usual additional week heading south somewhere after the race. If anyone is interested in joining me let me know.

Im sure i will be going back to spain too. Hopefully the apartment will be free near Malaga so we can stay there for a few days

Fills my heart with glee when I see this thread popping up in the most recent.

Must be nearly time to start packing.

I will be on my own.

So there is a spare seat in the Wonky Donkey.

Already watching re-runs of last year and have booked the week off. Mrs W now aware that these are sacrosanct dates. 9 years of training paying off.

OK, as your now on your own its looking like you will be at Les Blot as Benny has requested you have his space this year which means you’ll be sharing with Frank...who tends to skulk off and sleep on the sofa.

If you prefer not then you are welcome to stay at Wayne’s, it’s up to you.

Damo - I shall be bringing some monkeys, if that helps with your planning.

I'd like to get the numbers tied up, here is the list so far. If anyone would prefer to go Dover Calais rather than Pompey Cherbourg please let me know as we are struggling as everyone want to drive next year. Its £50 return rather than £260 and you would not miss out on any of the activities as we will meet at the foot of the Cherbourg peninsula probably in Bayeux.

Les Blots works for me. I am sure Frank will cope by throwing his black country wisdom and ennui at me.

That’s the stupidest thing I’ve heard since me Grannie turned up with with a picture of a black-handled knife in a bag which used to have cake in it.

The JK gig is at the Le Mans MMArena which is in Le Mans and not at the circuit and is a paid ticket event. Its caused a bit of a hooha as it should be free and in the track.
