Never heard of them, but now see that they have 7 3200's in stock. I bet that's the first time ever, anywhere, that a dealer has stuck there neck out (with 3200's) quite so far. 99% of traders wouldn't stock 1, let alone 7! It's a brave but welcome stance.

I've been to see this garage a while ago they usually sell good 911 996s so this must be a change. Will be interesting to see how long it takes to sell them, yes that's a lot of stock for one model.

It wouldn't surprise me to find out they're all customers cars being sold on commission .

Re member when I bought mine from the Bath specialist....and can't remember their name....they had 10 for sale at the time....Very rare these days so that 7 is a lot.

Caracalla I believe...or they were and then changed their name.....Think it was changed to an Italian race track name..

Cortese was the car sales business, while Caracalla was the leather luggage business. Both run by the same chap from the same unit. I went to test/buy a 456, but came away with a nice bag instead. (In Maserati blue, with Stirling Moss' number 7 on the sides).

They also did the Leo Nardo upgrade kits for the 3200 (wheels, turbo boosts, etc).

Cheap day out the Ewan. I recall the same names as I crossed through Bath daily then. The leather goods business seemed to last longer than the car sales.

Simon Jordan wasn’t it?

They used to import Alfa’s in the late 90’s and early 2000’s and supplied me my first ever Alfa.

Still have their metal key fob on my bunch of keys. Specialist Cars Direct?

Looking at companies of which Simon Jordan was a director, Cortese-Bath Ltd was dissolved on 22 January 2013, Ultimate Garage Ltd was dissolved on 1 April 2014, Caracall Bagaglio Limited was dissolved on 20 December 2011 and its phoenix company Caracalla-Bath Limited was dissolved on 28 January 2014.

Always found him a decent guy. The list of directorships that he's had suggests he did end the companies properly otherwise he would have been able to be a future director.
