Anyone seen this video on YouTube of the work done to make an Aston Martin Vulcan road legal. Car looks phenomenal, and interesting about what they had to do.

Interesting, such a huge amount of work. And the whole thing was shot within 4 miles of my house, sorry I missed it!

Yes saw that through Aston on FB....Just live it....The one car I would have if my numbers came up and then pay another fortune for Aston to make road legal. The ultimate performance car for me.

Was going to say do you think it would add to the worth or not...You would like original would be better for resale over the years but I see they will revert the to back to full factory spec if the owner wants to...Endorsed by Aston as well helps.

Yes, to those people where money is no object and its about having something more exclusive than the car next to them parked outside the casino in Monaco.

Oh forgot to mention if you want to have the 2nd road legal Vulcan than there is an original Vulcan for sale through Superventtura in Sunningdale, Berks. POA but I have read somewhere it was up for £2.7Mil. Another was up for auction in Aug 2016 in the US for $3.3Mil but failed to reach that price.

Cost to modify will not be as expensive as the first as they know the mods and upgrades needed already. so maybe another £250k or so. Looks like the grandkids piggy banks will have to be raided AGAIN.

Have just looked at it again.

How come this has no front number plate? I thought that was a legal requirement as well?

Zep, if you were within 4 miles, could you hear it?
Andy

I should have done, but maybe I was out! The Sainsbury's they filled it up at is 2 miles away and the parked shots are in Grendon, the next village along from me. Not really surprising as RML are in Wellingborough.

In the YouTube video comments someone has asked the same question. Response from the production company was that they were running on trade plates and edited them out.

Yes seen that one and believe it is 2.7/2.8 million. I was reading an article last year about them converting the car and I'm sure it was a lot more money........sure it was mentioned around 600k or more....but could be wrong...

250k was simply a figure I pulled out of the air for the 2nd car, I was originally thinking 500k. £600k for the first car could be right as they need to add all the design and dev costs.

Suppose if you've paid 2 million plus for the car 600 is just like adding extras.......Would love to have a drive....What an event on the public roads. More presence than arguably anything other road car you can buy...

Yuck. All that effort and you put on an illegal rear plate and no front plate.

For so many reasons, not the car for me. Give me a Pagani over this any day of the week.
