McGrath have had some pattern ones made, although he couldn't comment on them I would imagine they are of decent quality.

Perhaps we could run a list of obsolete parts, there are lots of them !!

well, that's not terrific is it..?

I wonder what they mean..? Surely all those cars listed had oil coolers on them..?

It must be to do with height of the filter and clashing against the mounting of the nearby parts... If you were desperate, you could always unhook one end of the oil cooler, every service time, just to get the filter over the thread on the pump...

The original sold by Maserati was UFI 23.216.00 with 0.7 bar bypass valve opening pressure. Fortunately this has a substitutes. For example Mann W77, Fram PH3512 / PH8172, etc. Check the cross-references with the UFI par number.
