Interior lighting project

As I have recently had the entire interior out of my 4200 for the last few months changing the heater matrix, I decided to do a few other jobs too; one bring an interior lighting project.
Having become used to the interior of my wife's Range Rover Overfinch, I thought I would try this, particularly as I now have black carpets too.
Using white LED lighting strips tucked up into the dash and under the front seats, I have created a very welcoming light attached to the interior courtesy lights.

In addition, I have taken the red LED down light from an Audi and added this to the roof light so is illuminated when the headlights are on.

The roof light is not quite as successful as ai had hoped as the light from the info centre and the clock are quite bright. My hope was that it would put a soft glow over the new Carbon Fibre trim.
I will have to investigate if I can dim the brightness of the clock as that would make a difference.

Looking good David.

I am doing something similar to the sink units in both of the ensuites of the new house. The rooms are small and the down lighting creates a shadow under the sinks making the room look even smaller. A PIR and a stip light in warm white should work a treat.
