Sorry in the black on my iPhone I didn’t appreciate that. Look similar from a distance in that colour!

I just hope they are better than all the pundits suggest as they get appalling reviews.

Would love a 355, but once again missed the boat not that I was really ever on it.

Same here. Although a few specialists I've spoken to suggest that the cars on sale at the moment could be bought for a fair chunk less than their asking prices.

Good work. They are unique cars - and the monthlies sound great! Man maths is a wonderful thing - but does make sense. If you are happy with how much it costs a month how can anyone argue with how you spend your money.
Love the steering wheel on them. How is it to drive compared to the 4200?

Not had a lot of time in the 4C, just test drive, but Totally different to the 4200.The 42 was very sensible until around 5500RPM, if you kept it there in every gear things got a bit frantic, of course by then you were doing silly speeds, the 4C is like that at 20mph! :thumb3::thumb3::thumb3:
No nonsense weekend toy!
Worried it may get tiresome after a while, but living with Heidi Klum probably would too......But you would!

Did you not emigrate mate?

Well the plan was to work over here for a year or more but visa limitations meant that we could not get the jobs we wanted so we have just been travelling around since the New Year - brilliant fun! I expect we will return in the next month or so....sadly!

Well, I collected the car last Monday & have now had a little time to play, despite the weather & my middle age aliments trying there best to stop me.

It's now run in so have access to all the driving modes, although saving race & associated launch control until its properly dry.

The best way to describe the driving experience is, it's a bit like taking my hyperactive spaniel for a walk...(he's a handsome fellow..much like the Alfa) You do end up going where you are heading, but your pulled left to right sniffing out all the hedgerows, with your arms pulled out of there sockets. If your walking at 5 mph he desperately wants to be doing double that & is panting & pulling at his lead, whilst I try my best to keep him at a sensible speed.
Once you reach some open park land & let him off his lead, he is like a thing possessed, fairly rapid for a spaniel, changes of direction & speed are instant.
On the way home once we've had our fun, things are a little calmer, the spaniel still panting & puffing, but we head back at a more relaxed space.
Once home he is filthy & requires a good clean.

I love my dog owning experience, I know when I take him out he's going to be a pain in the ****, but once he is unrestrained its a joy. Owning the Alfa appears to be much of the same, happy days!

Will you tire of it though and get bored like most dog owners do?

NO! He's my best mate, comes everywhere with me.....,Oh you mean the car! Probably, but the man calculator means we are a pair for a while...remember a dog is for life....etc

I have been tempted by a 4C but every time I drive one I can't help but think that a Cayman S has it beat on all points bar that moment when you open the garage and go wow!

But well done to you enjoy
I love Alfa but if I were in the market for one of these types of things I’d be plotting a sat nav to Hethel for some naturally aspirated goodness...
