I'd agree. Can't see that going for more than 12k. If it does someone is overpaying IMHO.

Slightly OT apologies but connected... I'd love a QP but with child 3 on way will have to be QP. Previously had GS and loved the downshift. With appropriate exhaust, can a QP duo select get anyway near the GS X Pipe type sound with downshift?

Duoselect will blip on the downchange and the later GTS 4.7 QP's will no doubt have a similar sound. Fit an X pipe to it and it will sound more raspy and will pop and bang on overrun etc....

Thanks Phil, good to know. The automatic ZF won’t have such noises I suppose?

Also for the QP can you explain sound differences between H and X pipe. My GS had a forum X Pipe and it sounded amazing though I know it’s a different car with valves etc.

On my DS I had an X fitted and it was fine. I've never fitted an H to a QP but have heard them on the 4200/GS cars with the same dry sump engine and they sound great. A deeper, louder soundtrack than the X but still preserving the Italian acoustics, just.
