After just over 5 years of ownership I'm going to be selling my GS this summer as I'm using it less and less and could do with the money to pay towards a house extension. I've absolutely adored owning it as from the first time I saw one it became my dream car and it more than lived up to what I hoped it would be. I've had a trade bid at just under £20k which seems reasonable but being as i'm in no great rush to sell and would like to see it go to another enthusiast i thought it would be worth me putting the details on here and see if anybody is interested. I'll post more details about the service history etc later but for now here's the key stuff

Year = March 2006 so on an 06 plate but was registered a few days before the more expensive tax comes in
Mileage = Just under 75k, of which just over 20k done in my ownership
Colour = Black with black leather and silver tech cloth
Clutch = 18% worn
Tyres = MPSS about 4k old
MOT = Next due in December, passed last one and the few before that without any advisories
History = Car has a full history with many thousands spent between 40 & 55k miles, since then it has been fully maintained by a specialist close to my home (F1 Performance Cars) and had a major service yesterday including spark plug change. The book is fully stamped up and I have accompanying invoices. Disks and pads were changed about 3k ago
Changes from standard = The secondary cats and resonator have been replaced with a custom X-pipe and I've replaced the standard stereo with a Pioneer DAB unit. I've kept the original bits in case anybody wants to put it back to standard
Not so good bits
  • Scratch on drivers side door handle
  • scratch on drives side, side skirt
  • pull in rear passenger seat (drivers side) tech cloth which has been repaired but still visible
  • chrome on interior air vents has flaked
  • centimetre long crack in drivers side speaker cover
  • both window buttons are slightly 'sticky'

I'll post more details and some pictures this evening but for now if anybody is interested or has any questions just let me know

Cheers

Brett
