Hi all,

I am in the market for my first Maserati and have a viewing booked on a car early next week.

It's a 2011 GT MC Shift, 26,000 miles, 3 main dealer stamps, next service due Nov 2019. I'm informed by the dealer that the front discs and pads were just replaced at a cost of circa £1500(?).

I know the question will have been asked 100 times already (sorry) but is there major issues I should keep an eye open for when viewing and test driving?

Also, the dealer says they can get me a 3 year warranty on the car for £1600 (usually £3200 but offering a dealer contribution) which includes wear and tear claims on things such as the clutch etc. Does anyone have any recommended warranty providers at all as a comparison?

Thanks in advance!

I've used warranty direct to great effect. That warranty sounds something of a steal, though, if it's any good.

Welcome BTW

Thanks for the heads-up I will check them out.

Any common issues I should keep an eye open for on viewing?

Loads of better qualified people will be along soon, but
Springs
Bushes
Drop links
Coolant header tanks
Exhaust manifolds
Alternators
Aircon compressors
Clutch condition.

Sounds worse than it is, to be honest
