Hi Guys

I'm removing my 4200 fuel tank to replace the LH fuel pump which is leaking at the top with a second hand one.

My question is how do the fittings on the pipes in the photos remove?

Cheers

Graeme

Hi guys

I worked out how to do it. You squeeze the sides in and they detach.

I was having huge trouble removing the main filler hose but as I'm only changing the left hand pump I found I can swing the tank out and change it without putting the hose which has a bellows section under much stress.

It's full steam ahead with the changeover now.

Yes, it took a fair bit of time but it wasn't especially difficult..

It's interesting to note that the left hand one now has the same yellow plastic top as the right hand one, unlike the white LH one with the crack I took out.

The replacement was off a Ferrari 599GTB, so a newer model. I wonder if the RH one had already been replaced earlier?

Anyway it's all back together and appears fixed.
