Thread: Door replacement problems. HELP please

  1. #1
Hi , can you guys help me out with a problem? My GranSport was involved in a minor accident and the passenger side door was replaced with a second hand door.
The problem is that nothing works now, window, mirror, door lock, all the electrical stuff seams to be dead. Everything was done by the previous owner so I have no clue what he did there...
Any ideas where should I start? Thank’s a lot

Are yellow cables not airbag related? I take it the door airbag is present?

The big yellow cable is connected to the airbag. There is another yellow one that is loose. Very useful the post you linked here, I’ll study it very carefully and see if I can work it out the mess. Unfortunately I don’t have the old door that was replaced... thank’s a lot

It will be for one of the following components:
    Speaker
    Tweeter
    Floor light
    Electric window motor
    Electric window micro switch
    Door lock
    Airbag
    Wing mirror

If you have non working items check the loom where it goes from door to body as flexing over the years cause breaks.
