Thread: Sticky vents etc

    Just to let you all know, I just refurbished my air vents and heater control dials, taking off all the sticky stuff, I have chosen to repaint mine in black vinyl paint, looks relatively age authentic, but I guess you could use any paint suitable for plastics. I use my soda blasting cabinet, quick, gentle and effective.

    One on the right has just been blasted, left is vinyl paint, I tried a satin black too and that looked good, high gloss takes more time as you have to layer the lacquer or the vents get stuck

    They look identical to Alfa 166 vents....

    I also think the heater control switches are a Fiat Coupe 20vt...

    They look greaqt did you use any special vinyl paint? Just wondering if the same can be used on the buttons.
