    Lot of money.

But at the end of the day its just an Audi.

Have a Look at the OLD Audi range and see how much is shared with the R8.

I am an Audi fan but never, ever warmed to the R8, it took the extremes of Audi S cars which were often poorly developed for UK roads and made them worse. RS6 is pick of the range for me to be an Audi. Or perhaps one of those with the lovely 5 pot motor (which will never have the character and soul of the original but at least it is trying).

Incredibly capable car, possibly too good. It really does want you to thrash it when you get in, its immensely quick, well-built, reliable. It is also mundane, TT like, image issues, oh and yes, its an Audi. The best car they have ever built, but still an Audi.

On a serious note, S Tronic gearbox is the only one to have. R Tronic is awful and the manual is hard work.

It's an Audi...be prepared to sit off the tail of other cars on the motorway.

Seriously they are fast, probably well put together have an interesting motor being a V10. There's the chance of it boring you quickly as the switchgear is probably the same as an A1/2/3/4/5/6/7/Q3/5 etc and when you say that you drive an Audi, you'll find that someones wife has an Audi too...an A1....mk1

Don't blame you for looking at one... After all there is nothing coming down the Maserati production line that will give you the same bang for your buck.
