As suggested by another member, I have started this as a new thread:

Chrome or black wheel nut covers for your Maserati, a significantly cheaper solution than re-chroming.

See this earlier thread for details:
http://www.sportsmaserati.co.uk/showthread.php/3498-How-do-you-like-your-nuts

I'm prepared to see if I can negotiate a group buy for Maserati owners. Wheel nut covers will be 22mm - please check this is correct for your car before you add your name. I reckon I'll need at least 10 to negotiate any sort of discount.

Will they be exactly the same shape as the ones in the thread above? I have been looking at buying these things before but all I could find were wheelnut covers that had a more rounded head and I don't like that because then they will be "sticking out" if you look at your wheels from the side. If they have the same shape as the ones on the Alfa, then please count me in for 20 chrome ones (as I don't have anti-theft wheelnuts)

Hi Ross and a warm welcome to the forum.

I trust you realise that along with adding yourself to the list you have committed to quelling our inherent nosiness and must give us some details about your car / experiences? It's the law you know! :) :)

Already looking forward to the lowdown........

Cheers, Miles.

I think the covers come in 20's anyway.

I contemplated them before but was half inclined to get the wheel bolts bright zinc plated but was concerned about hydrogen embrittlement and the need for additional post plating heat treatment.

20 slip on covers are fine for me and a lot less hassle.

No worries about late entries, this hasn't started yet as I'm just trying to gauge interest.

Should be enough interest to get started, but the more the merrier!

I shall start to make enquiries and will report back.
