Ashtray 3200GT is similar to 1 version of the ash tray that was fitted to the Fiat Barchetta. You only need to replace the green led from your old ash tray (= very easy to do, takes about 5 seconds). The Barchetta ash tray is approx 1/3 of the price of the Maserati part.

Same for middle air vents. See pictures.

Ok so coil packs for the 3200. A Valeo part and Eurospares want £64 plus VAT, can be had for £43 from Euro Car Parts as they are also fitted on Citroen ZX, Peugeot 306 etc.....

4200 oil filter - Mann W930 / 13

Just spotted an after market oil filter on a salvage 4200 engine on ebay, Mann W930 / 13

I plan to order one and compare to the purtex one when I do the service, has anyone already tried this?

for the 4200 they're dealer part only, about 35 quid from eurospares plus delivery so to me that is worth it if I fits and is the same quality.

If you have 2 Maserati its even better

You would have to be positive that the technical specs are exactly the same, pressure release, flow rate, back pressure release etc., before going down that road..!! I would not risk it without being absolutely convinced technically..!!

Reversing sensors:

I can confirm that Alfa Part number 735393479 work just fine. They are round, not flatted off, so you might want to do all 4, but at £15 each from ebay, you'll still have change from what Maserati charge for a genuine part.

I have fully working reversing sensors. It rocks :)

I was quoted £186.00 for a single Maserati one last week at DLs.

Painting and fitting were extra! Great find.
