Let me be the first to make a positive contribution by my experience with Nuvola. When I was looking for a Maserati Gransport, someone recommended Nuvola. I phoned on a Sunday evening and to my surprise the owner answered and offered to meet me that evening, opening the garage especially for me........now thats what I call service.

The garage is in a multi story car park in Shepherds Bush West London where Narman the owner rents a floor of car parking spaces with each space occupied by a gem. Most of the cars are Maserati but there are few other jewels there too.

The car I viewed was a Maserati Gransport LE which was beautifully presented, fully valeted and full Maserati service history with all the documents ready for my inspection. Whilst circumstances led me to buy my Maserati from another indie, I regret not buying Nuvola's car,

Narman is courteous and has endless patience and is a really genuine guy. Whilst he operates from a restricted area, his cars were beautiful and very fairly priced. He offers warranty, finance and no doubt has tie ups with various indies for ongoing servicing. What does come across is that he is passionate about Maserati.

As always please make sure you have your car independently checked whether it be from Nuvola or any other indie

I also phoned Nuvola about a car, but was put off as he had no premises so to speak. I then also purchased from an Indy, Nuvolas car was better priced, and better spec'd, and I bet it had not been involved in an accident! I also so, so wish I had purchased from Nuvola now.

For the second time today I find myself agreeing with you as I also bought from the same dealer as you (my 4200 from Nareman):D

Very nice guy, to the point and easy to deal with. Still got the car and very happy with it.

I'm very agreeable tonight. Now, I must find someone to disagree with...:eek:

Hi Guys,

Popped onto Shiltech today to ready the car for servicing. Spoke to Geoff and Stuart (Stewart?) and they've now finalized servicing costs for 3200 / 4200 / Gransport.

Annual / Minor service £450.00 plus VAT.
Major service £550.00 plus VAT and spark plugs as required.

I'll get more details when I take the car in, but these seem to be pretty **** good rates.

prices as Miles states above.

Very friendly people there - will report back when I get the car back.

So far in my recent 4200 ownership I've experience of:

Nuvola - fully echo the positive comments above. I think Nareman is very selective about the cars he gets in and in reality this is reflected in the prices - you get what you pay for. He was very helpful in sorting out the minor issues with the car inc items found during an inspection (Giallo) and the main dealer service. Dealing with him was quite different to the other independent I initially spoke with who did not fill me with confidence by his reaction to my suggestion of having an independent inspection! So Nuvola = highly recommended and don't worry about the premises thing - go, look at the cars, meet Nareman then make up your mind.

Giallo - as mentioned, they did the inspection for me as the car was going to them anyway for a couple of items that Nuvola were going to sort. Despite some form of commercial relationship between Giallo and Nuvola I am happy that the inspection was completely objective. Mathew at Giallo was helpful in explaining the results of the inspection and I think this was a good value and thorough service.

One post inspection issue was discovered that typically could not be easily confirmed if was present at the time of the inspection - both Nuvola and Giallo were helpful with this and I am happy with the outcome.

To be honest I have never heard a bad word said about Nuvola. All I hear is praise for Narman's patience and professionalism. I would endorse what you say stylo.........look beyond the premises and focus more on the cars and the guy selling them :)

I have had positive experiences with Bob Houghtons in Northleach, Gloucestershire. They are a trully magniicent ferrari specialist but they know their maseratis too. They have the SD3 diagnostics. They are not the cheapest but I normally look after the car myself so they only do the things i need special tools for like valve clearances. The contacts is Russell in servicing and Justin in parts.

Got the car back at the beginning of the week - all is well.

When picking up, spent a while there chatting with Geoff and missus - very nice people and very knowledgeable.
£550+VAT for 43,500 service.

Highly recommended to anyone in E Mids area.

All standard 43,500 oils, filter, pollen filte retc and checks. Also replaced belt for generator/steering control (should be done at least every 3 yrs according to schedule) and checked clutch wear.

total of £646.25 inc.

Dear All,

Good news, I have just had my 3200GT serviced plus other works carried out by Auto-Sportiva and I would use them again!

I saw their advert on a forum and booked the car in for an annual service and MOT. The car had a few other bits done at the same time and I can say that I am impressed with all involved at the garage.

Auto Sportiva is a small showroom and garage based in Southborough, Kent.

Neil, the mechanic was excellent, very knowledgable and even remembered my car from when he worked at Whitehouse.

I have owned my 3200gt for just over a year and I am sure like most of us we know that these cars are not cheap to maintain but when we do spend we like to know that we spending wisely, such was the case in using Auto-Sportiva.

If you would like to more details etc please drop me a line and if you too have used Auto-Sportiva then please let me know how you got on?

I bought my car from Auto-Sportiva at the very start of January 2010 and I can say that they have been fantastic.
Very friendly, professional and caring. The car needed a few minor points putting right when I bought it and Dominic has been true to his word and sorted them out.
So a big thumbs up from me for Domininc, Guy and the rest of the team there.

I'll be the first to sing Emblem's praises then! No-one else has ever looked at my car and no-one else will, I trust Darren, Myles and Martin completely. They're honest and straightforward and can work with you to just do what's needed, or go completely overboard like I tend to do. ANo-one else attends all our trackdays and will fettle the cars while we're there. True enthusiasts amd genuinely nice people.

Also they show you the bits that come off you car and explain why they had to replace them. That's always good to know, especially if you are non-mechanical like me!

I would also echo the positive comments about Nareman and his company. My short advice would be DON'T be put off by the lack of showroom and DO get an independent inspection. Otherwise you can't really go wrong. If I were planning to upgrade to more recent model, I'd certainly call Nareman first.
