Where is this from??

Auto-Doc

there are other Pads compatible too, way better than OEM ones, and cheaper

example: Hawk HPS or Hawk Performance Ceramic (i am running these right now...) , around €250 the front pads...

that's why i am saying, ABS ones, even is they are not high performance, is a total bargain for 30 bucks

Don't suppose anybody would know if a 2012 stradale would have the same component as mine seized up and the front of the pulley fell off today and the belt snapped. Can't see if there is a part number on there before I strip it down.

Have a look at the website. The drop down menu was vast, and seemed to cover all models across the years.

Good luck with the hunt!

Just to inform, this is not a delphi unit but rather a chinese version. So if you want to go (factory) delphi you can get those for around 550 gbp.

Has anyone got experience of these air filters @ $20

PG Air Filter PA99300

Only available in the US (not worth the shipping/taxes to UK) BUT might be worthwhile chucking a few in my checked bag when I'm there in a few months?!

I bought aftermarket air blades and they fit my QPV 2010:
Bosch Aerotwin AR26U and AR18U.
You only need to cut side of top cover for longer blade about 1 cm to fit (actually to close) top cover while QPV left arm mechanism is more complicated than usual.

I was looking up injectors for the granturismo. The maserati partcode is 213635. They are 218 pounds new, 160 for the ferrari part.

The bosch number is Bosch 0280158124. These will set you back a cool 30 pounds.

So basicly, for 1 maserati branded bosch injector you can buy 8 non branded. Saving you a nice holiday in total costs if you are to replace them all 8.

So the wing mirror covers and wing mirror glass for the Alfa 159 are a perfect match (same serial no for the wing mirror covers) for facelift QPV (and I suspect the Granturismo which uses the same wing mirror assembly but I haven't actually tried them on those cars).

Alfa159 wing mirror covers are available on ebay in chrome, carbon fibre, primer or even painted in your car colour if you provide the PPG No (car parts express) for about £42 a side delivered.

The mirrors - the wingmirrorman.co.uk

Enjoy

I want to change one of the front spots on my 2010 Granturismo as it’s got a little rust beginning to show on the reflector. It’s there a matching part or dobI stick with OEM? Thanks

I noticed that my drivers side boot strut had a broken joint (plastic collar had disintegrated). I was tempted to order two of the same Lift-O-Mat struts again (guess these are supplied as OEM?). But given the joints are plastic then it’s likely they’ll fail again over time.

I therefore ordered a set from SGS as have used them on other cars in the past. These have metal push fit joints / collars with a metal retaining pin, as opposed to plastic joints and metal retaining clips on the Lift-O-Mats.

On removing the old struts I could see that whilst there was some grease in the strut joint, that the body part they connect to is painted but the paint has started to come off. It could be that over time the bits of paint have caused an erosive effect, which in turn has caused the plastic collar to break.

So, I rubbed away the remaining paint, made sure it was free from debris, added fresh grease and fitted the new struts. I also lightly cleaned and lubricated the lever arms on both sides. The boot now opens and closes a little more smoothly than before.

Link to the struts - SGS part number GSC3207

Anyone know what the for mirror switch knob is in terms of what car did they steal it from?
I spent ages looking for one, and never found it - closest is a Ferrari 458 but I doubt that will help with the cost! Problem is you have to buy the whole switch unit - I was lucky as I still had the broken knob so managed to fabricate a repair with superglue......

I imagine the fiat ducato, doblo, Alfa 156, 500l, pug or citroen would have a know that would fit the switch. The switch surround may be different but I bet the switch internals are the same. QPV is the same too obviously.

Annoyingly, there doesn’t seem to be one. The closest I have seen is the Lancia Lybra, but the mountings are different. As Gaz says, there is a chance the inner bits will swap over.

Well I bought a switch for £9 and pulled the knob off. The Granturismo has a little edge so I drilled out the inners and it fitted, but it does not fit well enough to secure. I can use it...

Anyway I'll buy a couple more and see if I can make an adequate repair
