Yes, I've had mine for three years and has been routine maintenance at local garage in Dingwall - but now have an issue with the CC, need a new engagement potentiometer .... so looks like being trailered to Central Belt. Did you get anything interesting as an alternative to the 4200?
That again was my issue with the 4200. Plug in electronics. Routine stuff wasn’t an issue but 400 mile round trip was a pain.
Kept the biturbo Spyder and got a DB9. Sorry!! :)

I did follow a DB9 out of Dingwall a while ago, he had the foot down and may have been pulling away from me, sporting chance that was you then? Pulled in at the junction on the right above Conon

Hiya - I have seen some good posts on Migliore in the Midlands. What about Shiltech - has anyone here used them?

Used them in the past for my QP. No issues and happy to drop or pick you up from the station. Prices were ok as far as I recall. Geoff is a good guy and knows his stuff.

Thanx for the response. I am trying to choose between Migliore or Shiltech (Shiltech is closer to me..). I am kakking it slightly at the thought of my next service which includes LAMDA sensor replacement. HR Owens in Manchester has quoted £4500, hence the search for a reliable indy in the Midlands.

Don't do the lambda unless you are still under warranty. No one does those every 4 years. Take it yours is a 4 Yr major with carbon canister too? Some do those, some don't also.

Carbon canister is part of the 4 year service.
It's 4 years since I had the "proper" 4 year service, and I was advised that it was not necessary to do the lambdas or the carbon canister this time. I did do both 4.5 years ago (2019). Previous to that, I presume they were done by the first owner after 4 years (2011) and I bought the car in 2014. So It could have been 8 years since the they had both been changed when i did it previously.

No need to change lambdas unless they fail and in terms of carbon canister, it can be weighed to see if it needs replacing. As far as I know neither Lambdas nor canister has been changed on mine for at least 8 years, if not longer. AV just inspected both at my recent 4 year service and no issues.
