Alfa 159 Ti 2008 Black

Hi guys decided to put my TI up for sale so i can sort out a QP

so here goes
Alfa 159 2.4 TI (210 bhp spec)
2008 08 reg
Black metallic paint
Black leather with red stitching TI spec leather
19inch TI Alloys with P-zero 235/40/19 Tyres (good tread all round)
One Full Size TI Spare wheel with Tyre (P-zero), Also comes with never used savesaver spare.
FSH With recent cambelt change new injectors, new intake mainfold, and Turbo.
over the top services done every 4000 miles although un-registered on service book as carried out by myself but have receipts. the most recent of which was carried out 500miles ago including new oil filter, new oil, new air filter, new air con filter, new fuel filter and done next week will be new brake fluid.
the car is in very good condition although she has suffered with a common fault with 159's ...Stone Chips! all are very minor Expect one that has dented the bonnet this will be repaired before completion of sale.
my baby has had a slight modification over the standard TI's for sale.
Full New Stainless steel exhaust system from the exhaust mainfold to the back boxes, giving her a nice rumble over the normal Derv sound, the only cat on the car has been removed but the cat is available, the DPF (Diesel Particle Filter) has also been removed and replaced with a solid straight through pipe again stainless steel to go with the exhaust.
removal of this frees up the exhaust system it also increases some bhp and MPG, i average about 47-50mpg on a motor way run and about 40mpg around town. compared to a Standard 2.4 averaging mid 30s on a motorway run.
the Exhaust system was carried out by AlfaTune in St.helens by a very well know tuner in the alfa circles called Gus once the exhaust system was fitted the car was live tuned increasing the BHP and Torque figures (BHP to approx 300 and Torque to around 550ft)
Being a TI spec you have lowered suspension, Sports Steering wheel, Parking sensors, night panel, USB, Bluetooth, Factory fitted Body kit, Sports leather seats, an optional Extra of Folding rear seats,
TAX is due next month but i will retax her for 1 year before collection, MOT is Due 06/13 i am so confident of the condition of the car i am willing to Re-MOT the car at point of sale!.
i will upload new Photos tomorrow when we have a brake in the rain.
the Price is £8300 ONO and test drive is available Ofc please bring prof of comprehensive insurance with you, at the moment I'm back in London so can be viewed area London area but frequently travel the country so give me a shout to find out where I am.

Edit there is a Private plate on the car at the moment it is NOT included in the sale and will revert back to her standard plate.

Lovely car, but claiming the power increase from 210 to 300 is rather a lot, it would really put me off, the engine must be at bursting point! Maybe.

Thats a fair point Mjheathcote,
the tuner that did my car is very well know and respected, he bought several 2.4's and destroyed them finding the limits of the engine and turbo for the car.
the power increase applied to my car is well within the limits of the engine and turbo, there are 3 other cars as far as im aware on the road currently that have been given the treatment mine has, two..mine and another are running the same setup the other two cars are running more power iirc around 25-50bhp more but similar torque, none of 4 cars have had any problems running this power. Iirc one of the cars that Alfatune destroyed ran closer to 450bhp before problems started to develop and need sorting out engine wise,
the Clutches can take the power but need to be treated with respect.
the Turbos car more than capable of the power and are capable of running closer to 550bhp
if you were to go higher power though induction and cooling would need to be looked at running a larger intercooler is the first step.
the injectors cope fine with the power and the std injectors are still used on the higher power 2.4's
the Map used on my car is currently known as the F1 map used by a few tuners but developed by Gus at AlfaTune (st, helens) and AHMotorsports (London) once the maps were developed by AT and AHM they both took the maps away and did slight tweeks on them making them there "own"
my car has been running this map and power for the past 3months , the two cars running more power have been running them for over the past year,
there are quite a few other cars running the same map but slightly less power, in the area of 260-270.
none of the cars that i know of that have been mapped by ether AHM or AT have suffered from Engine or Turbo related problems.
one or two have blown the clutches but that is from ill knowledge and inexperience of driving cars what that sort of torque curves and would of blown there clutches in standard form sooner rather than later.

Edit im trying to be as honest as possible so feel free to ask any questions and i will reply, the Map currently on my car is reversible and can be modified at any time to drop the power, i would suggest only AlfaTune or AHM deal with that though as they are aware of my car and have intimate knowledge of the map. they are Both Specialist Alfa tuners and Race Alfas in pro motorsport.

For the time I've had the car 99% of the mileage has been motorway miles i boght her at 70ishk and the old owner also used the ca as. Motorway mile muncher she has spent very little time in city/town driving and it is obvouse when you come to do a test drive, showing very little wear and tear all around.

That's a very sweet looking motor. If I hadn't already moved over to Quattroporte ownership I might have been interested. I've still got Alfas in my blood.

Good luck with the sale.

Thanks guys, she is something a little special to me and it was a really hard decission to make but as my father said to me.
"Your a man now it's time to put childish things behind you go buy a real mans car!"

She is going to be missed, I've put a lot into her and she's given me a lot back in return.
There really is my blood running around in her engine (cracked my head on the bonnet when I was doing an oil change blood went everywhere!)
If you know of or hear of anyone looking for an Alfa that fits my bella then make sure you point them in my direction :).

PLEASE don't talk wbout me selling her in front of her though she will throw a hissy fit!

Need to make a slight edit to the listing, the car no longer has a full sized spare tyre, I picked up a puncher last night and have had to put my new tyre on, still has a full sized spare wheel but no tyre on it.

Surely that's a problem for you with the QP?

I presume if you are using your car to ferry a client over a long distance you need to be able to put on a spare and continue the journey if you get a puncture. With the QP you will only have a can of squeezy stuff to allow you to limp to the nearest tyre shop; where they will inevitably tell you "Sorry mate, we'll need to order that size in".

I must admit it's one of the aspects of QP ownership I don't enjoy. I do many miles on the continent and these things usually strike when you are rushing for a ferry booking, on a Sunday. :(
