Hi
ive decided to sell my 4200 spyder cc 2004

Blue with a dark blue hood light cream leather rear glass screen 16000 genuine mile from new its a very honest car with a few stone chips and scuffs
everything works as it should heated seats electrics aircon etc.never been outside except when driven so no sun fading top still fresh looking
Had a full and expensive service at bill magraths last November , new tyres as it was still on the originals.50% clutch reading
I had x pipe and rear valved larinis fitted and it sounds incredible and still have original exhaust
I bought with 6800 miles in summer 2012 and I hardly use it, this is the genuine reason for the sale
£21000 ono

Any questions I would be happy to answer

Thanks
I will try and get some pics but I have not got a clue how to put onto forum I will ask some one over the week end
i know i am asking good money but I don't think there are too many around in this genuine condition and mileage
this forum will be the only place i will advertise the car as I cannot be doing with the public wasting my time

Thanks

Mick

There are other avenues Mick - I actually dont think you are asking too much - I would say its probably about right - maybe a little light but its hard to sell a cabrio this time of year compounded by these cars taking a while to sell.
But you never know!!!

Best of luck anyway.

That's a good point Dave, it is a tough time of year to sell any car and a convertible in particular but there will be someone out there looking for this car n this spec, seeing as they are so rare

If you compare it to a very nice R129 SL500 I know a very nice chap who has for sale for £14k It does represent very good for money in comparison.
Although my SL500 only has 2 owners & 70k miles this Spyder is about 4 years newer, 50k miles less, more power, better handling & more driver focussed.

Depends what you want I guess but if I wanted a fast, driver focussed rag top this Spyder makes a lot of sense does it not?

hi
Its not a face lift model
Just checked service history
Original sales invoice
Tracker fitted but not activated by me
Serviced by maranello
6/2/2004 3086 miles
24/8/2006 5499 miles
then the car was garaged.
SMDG Ferrari specialists
13/6/2012 6000miles
all fluids filters and service
Bill Mcgrath Maserati
19/12/2014
all fluids filters and service etc
From 2006 - 2012 the car only did 500 miles
Any other questions please ask
Mick

Be prepared for people on here bartering you down and saying the car is worthless because it didn't have a major service every year especially between 2007 and 2012.

I would service it first prior to sale as there at 1/2 doz for sale at the moment. Make it stand out ready to go needing nothing.

Hi
I believe it is ready to go
4 x new tyres
Extensive service 11 months approx. 2500 miles ago
Only thing that needed looking at was a slight oil leak from the sender unit
drives perfect every thing works as it should and always has done in my ownership

The value of these cars is sensitive to correct servicing. I get that it covered few miles over 6 years, but it's covered 10k miles in the last 3.5 years and only been serviced once. It'll sell much more easily and for more money if you get it serviced prior to sale.

I don't think the price is too high for the miles. It is the wrong time of year to sell a Spyder and they do take some selling but hang in there come spring you should find the right buyer.

Service history is something everyone gets hung up with but a good inspection will highlight any real issues.
