Previous Owners' Current Cars via Personalised Numberplates

Personalised number-plate changes can tell you a little something about what the previous owners of your car are currently driving, if you do a bit of googling and looking at sites like https://cazana.com/uk
My QP has had three previous private plates - although the V5 says 5 previous owners (?)

M20DEW - Aug 2015 to Jun 2016
Now on a 2010 Jaguar XJ (originally LG10OJN) from June 2016
Does not feel like a good move to me, but I'm sure he had his reasons.

RM51MAT - Jan 2012 to May 2015
Now on a 2016 Ford Mustang Fastback (originally FM65CXG) from Feb 2016.
Trading up to a newer car that goes well in straight lines.

R1MYH - May 2009 to Jan 2012.
On a 2007 Bentley Continental GT (originally CN57CRV) from Jan 2012 to Feb 2013.
(Don't know what happened between 2013 and 2016)
On a 2016 Maserati Levante (originally LO13HVA) from Dec 2016.
Now back in the Maserati fold.

The DVLA form V888 can also give you all the previous owners /dates - for £5.

Found my GS was registered to two garages so this changed the number of previous owners shown on the log book by a fair bit.

Didn't know you could check for old plates, chest checked one of my cars and saw it had a plate change I didn't know about. Very useful.

Surprisingly, if you put in a plate like 'A1' it is on a 10 year old mini!

Not sure who owns A1 Mike however type in A11 and you'll find one of the cars owned by the Park family in Glasgow. They own a string of dealerships including BMW, Mini, Honda, Bentley, Maserati and McLaren. I see the car often however the number was previously on an F12 which I liked better !!

Valuations for my current and past car are both about right as well-negotiated dealer prices.
