Interesting that the Rental ones have gone but still got the idiots on their own privately owned ones when I was there the other weekend.Next target.

After winning a city referendum on e-scooters, Anne Hidalgo has a new on-street target in her sights.www.bbc.co.uk
What about if you have a 100% BEV SUV?Next target.

You need a psychiatrist...What about if you have a 100% BEV SUV?
The govt told me to buy one......You need a psychiatrist...
Why do you think the mighty Khan is planting cameras all over London the people of London are in for a shock in 18 months time I am just glad It has not affected me yet but it will spread I suspect the cockneys will see a big rise in tickets dropping thro their letter box .I was having a discussion with a guy who'd just bought a new electric van because of the massive savings in London
No ulez
No congestion charge
Free tax
Cheap charging
I don't think he'd done his homework though
Anything new doesn't pay the ulez charge and free road tax and no congestion charge for EVs ends in 13 months
So from 2025 apart from cheaper charging(at home) there's little saving to be made by buying an EV for use in London
You need to change the batteries in your tinfoil hat...The govt told me to buy one......
LOL....I can't afford to.You need to change the batteries in your tinfoil hat...

Or people have to pay for charging at work....The real change for EV costs will be when the Govt stops subsiding the fuel for them so heavily. Or, more correctly, starts charging an equivalent to fuel duty. Fuel duty is on a litre of petrol is about a third of the total cost of the fuel (or like a 50% markup). Try the EV cost calculations with a 50% increase in electricity charges.
Surely if they don't that's no different than helping yourself from the stationery cupboard ?Or people have to pay for charging at work....
One issue I have with the energy companies is that they say 100% green electricity, i.e from low CO2 (there no such thing as zero emission!) but this is the past years electricity generation mix. 35% is Gas alone. I don't think they're tellling the truth on this.Front page article on one of our daily 'broadsheets' on how the advertising standards found TFL advertising of the benefits of ULEZ were misleading printed today.
I can't see how you would differentiate electricity use at work... Given the vast majority of new EV cars are connected, and the CCTV systems we have on our roads...we will be pay per mile soon.
Which has been proven to be BS... as the non-CO2 offset energy should be cheaper, theorectically .Offset.....
