Hi all
just joined the Maserati owners club - with a recent dream purchase of a lovely grancabrio sport.
I have been watching these battery posts with interest and bated breath. Left in garage for one week (after a long motorway drive to get it home) and when trying to start just a clicking, flashing dial lights and host of error messages.
Welcome to the forum. Its not uncommon for these cars to eat batteries if they are not used on a regular basis and not kept on a trickle charger / smart charger.
First things first. If you dont already have one invest in a smart charger. Ctek and noco if you want to spend a decent amount or cheaper options are available such as the gooloo.
GOOLOO 6 Amp Smart Battery Charger, 6V and 12V Trickle Charger and Maintainer for Lead-Acid Battery, Up to 150Ah, Battery Desulfator with LCD Display Pulse Repair Charger

That one comes with the quick connect leads that you can attach to the battery and leave in place. Connects to the charger with a 2 pin connector and you can also get an extention cable if you need a longer lead.
The smart charger will run a desulphication cycle to try and repair / regain lost charge holding ability.
Fully charge the battery and then if you have access to a volt meter check the voltage as fully charged on the car and after 24 and 48 hrs later without use. That should give you a fair idea if that battery is goosed or you have a parasitic drain.
Voltage on a fully charged good battery will be between 12.75 and 12.95 volts approx. If its much below that then the battery is showing its age and would probably benefit from a new one soon.
