So Bernies circus starts again this weekend, looks like the Brackley boys are going to be the ones to beat again, bound to be some fireworks, dummies out of the pram moments but hopefully we might get some good racing as well.

Would love to see Kimi be competitive this year. But i doubt. But i do like the team line ups, mainly Fezza, McLaren and Merc.

Hoping a German-Ferrari partnership can prevail, as it did with Schumi.

Pedal to the Vettel.

Friend of ours is the lollipop man for Force India (he hates me calling him that as he is really the race team operations manager) and he is not overly confident about their performance this year.

One of the best forums for F1 news I've found is, surprisingly enough, on a hi-fi forum.

Have a look through this thread. There are a couple of ex-F1 engineers hanging out and their stories and insights make fascinating reading. For example.

Watching practise now.....The cars look better this year without the stupid noses.....Also I see a few more Mercedes engines....Lotus has one this year.

So Lewis still on top ... Ferrari look better this year and Williams still strong.

Was driving past Albert Park today during some of the qualifying laps. The Porsche Carrera Cup was also on and they are actually far louder than the F1 cars!

F1 is hot in our country now, since we entered a kid who's not yet old enough to have a drivers licence. But judging from qualifying we're in for yet another year of watching which one of the two taxi drivers is fastest. Not sure that's worth losing sleep over tomorrow morning.
