Well, made the final payment today on the finance so it is all mine now.

As many of you know, I sold my GTS 3 years ago and put the money into an office. The money that the GTS had accrued was my car fund that I built up over the preceding 25 years.

Basically, I had to start again from zero, so I did have to heavily finance my next car, the 4200 Spyder that Zag now owns. Made a bit on it, took a bit more finance, flipped some parts and put in some cash and got the GS that I have had for 2 years now.

Anyways, not showing off or anything, its just good to be back where I was 3 years ago, in a fully owned Maserati but an office to show for the aggro.

Aye, well done Matt. The hard work, commitment and desire pays off in the end!

Like you, I'm lucky enough not to have any finance on my GS. Being an accountant, the idea of cash tied up in a car didn't make any sense to me. But knowing that the GS prices have bottomed out at worse, or even on the rise if I'm lucky, does make the man maths a bit easier. And then that glorious V8 through the Larinis make me wonder why I worry about money at all!!

Always a good position to be in when you own your car. I hate finance. But sometimes it's a means to an end.
As as you say, when it's paid off. Happy days!

Good to see things can work out. Nice colours on the GS by the way. Although I may be a little biased.

Indeed. The only bummer at the mo is my downstairs renter is off in Feb and I also lost one of my upstairs offices too so what it gives with one hand, it takes with the other!

I'll rent it as the hub for my multi-national CAD company. Is a pound a week ok?

I remember the soul searching when the GTS was sold. You should be absolutely proud of what you have achieved. The GS isn't exactly a minger!

Keep pedalling mate.
