It was fairly local to me, near the Dorset/Somerset border. He'd had the car from when it was a year old, used it regularly for the first 2 years but then hardly at all. As far as I can tell it was not a car known within the Maserati Club or the SM Forum, so it's nice to be bringing it in from the cold, so to speak.

Here's a picture. Well....I don't know if it's my actual car, but it's the same spec, colour, etc.

Ewan, bloody lovely...The right colour combination as this was the launch colour and always thought the colour they should be in...The same colour as the racing cars they were celebrating.

My MCV needs a respray and I am just in the process of booking it in. I am now thinking of changing the colour to Victory Blue. I will still have a black / dark blue interior but I think the Victory Blue is stunning amd I prefer it to black which is a nightmare to keep in good shape. I think it will go with the interior but I believe all the blue MCV's came with blue interior. Any blue GS's with black interior?
Am I mad doing this? Anyone else changed the colour of their car?

I do believe I have seen a victory blue MCV with a black interior and also one with that very light grey (almost white) and blue interior....The blue and black looks good as well......Isn't Miles's black inside?

Here is the interior. All the Victory blue ones I've seen have the blue interior. Mine is black with dark blue to match the carbon.

This is the MCV at Riverside in California. Matches the MC12 which it sits next to. Another option?

I'd not want to change the colour from original. My 400i was re-sprayed blue many years ago, and I bought it partly because I specifically wanted a blue one. But as soon as I discovered the colour was not original I've been planning a respray to return it to its light metallic bronze/brown.

And your MCV is all the more rare for being black. So I'd keep it that way if I were you. But I'd have a good GTechniq treatment given to it to make cleaning a doddle.

Congrats Ewan. Lovely example & I'm sure you'll look after it. We are starting to get & keep all the good ones close now. I guess you just need a Stradale now!

You could always have it wrapped, any colour you want and easily reversable...

If you look on Autoscout there are a number of Blue MCV's with different colour interiors.
