Sorry for not posting sooner.
Car is lovely and in the same great condition as when Dicky sold it to me. It is a shame to sell it and I do love to drive it (it is so much more satifying than my old 911). It was intended to be a weekend car as I have a run about for the week and wouldn't fancy parking it at Crewe station overnight. But it hasn't quite worked out as we still seem to use our Land rover at the weekends (to fit in all the baby garb) - so the car has turned from garage queen to garage goddess. Coupled to this things are a little tight as my wife has been off on maternity so using my head rather than my heart I thought I would see whether I get any interest. I would like to think that I would jump back into a Maser next year when things are a little easier.
It is of course due a service and the price is ono - so I'll see whether anyone is interested. I'm not in a huge hurry and if I don't get any takers I'll be keeping it and taking it out for as spin as often as I can.
Not too sure about the timimg chain - I didn't think that these needed to be replaced (or not until ~100k). I thought that only the 3200 had cam belts needed and only the aux belts (alternator etc) needed to be inspected on the GS.
I haven't posted much in the past, but I have really enjoyed reading this forum. If anyone knows anyone who would be interested or if anyone has any questions I would be happy to help.

Nothing in the service book re chain change on the 4200 no matter the miles or age.
Me too. I was told the biggest service is at 68k - I dont recall chains being mentioned.Agree with that.
