heat them as John said and then pass a dental floss thread or similar behind the plate, top to bottom, with a sawing action along the plate.

i am sure people buy them just to sell on..
Soak it in WD40 to get ride of the sticky stuff.
Cue the thread drift!Just toss the front one and get a good rear one!
