LOL....it's not my fault Maserati doesn't have a car that fits this popular category. Aston sold quite a few Vantages. Imagine how many cars Maserati could have sold if they had produced a 2 seater manual V8 Coupe. Still a valid requirement now.Remind me - what’s the name of this forum again?
is it SportsAston? I don’t think so....
My personal view is that none of the current Maserati range are proper sports cars, and in all honesty probably aren’t trying to be... however, we tend to forget that and end up comparing them to things like a Vantage, or a Porker 911.
If I wanted a 2 seater Sports car, then a Vantage or a 911 would be obvious contenders... however, right now I need / value the flexibility of 4 seats, and I think the GS is a great all round package. I have to admit I still hanker after an MC-V, and am secretly hoping the market will crash so I can buy one for something more like 40k than 60k...
I keep getting drawn to the X150 they look such value for money at the moment and a Stunning Car in both the Coupe or Convertible.Cracking car! Well not the XK8 but X150
I'm sure it might be but missing the point a little. So are many manufacturers these days.I'll bet a secondhand 40k Alfa Giulia QV with its 500+hp is far more accomplished to drive every day than any modern AM ever produced
I've driven lots of late AM's, there all talk and no trousers!
All the old stuff though are fantastic!

Sorry mate, I think I'd rather drive my Fiat 500!Love ours. When my current E46 daily is sold I will get this out and use it over the summer and then likely time to sell

Sorry guys but I'd still rather drive my old Fiat!
Horses for Courses I suppose..
Even better if it was a Fiat Panda 4x4 version, Harrys garage last week!

I'm with AndyK I can forgive the Aston V8 Vantage a lot just because of its looks, it is IMO one of the best balanced coupes there has ever been and its where I would spend £30k, however I don't like the ragtop one little bit
With the roof down I think it looks great, but not with it up (where it mostly would be). I'd have had one otherwise.
I think the 4200 / GS Spyder is one of the best balanced convertibles, to me it looks right with roof up or down
