Morning Andy and all.
Too dark to look outside but appears dry.
Looks like the best offer on my UK house is 40K below the asking price so I think I'm taking it today and get thinks moving.
Stay Safe all.

Morning all. Grey

Oi! Distinguished, if you please.

Phil, £40k down is odd - things are booming out this way. Maybe it's a regional thing. Anyway, well done. Get it sold. One thing less to deal with.

Morning, all. Work today plus a trip out to get some paint for the hall and the downstairs dunny. Hopefully it'll be a quick job (no giggling at the back) and I can get it done during this wet weather.

Don't get me wrong still a nice return on what I paid for it 9 years ago but after loads of interest just low ball offers.
To be fair I wouldn't want to spend over 300K on a house when I see what my money has got me here in France that's for sure.
Moving on so not wasting anymore time on it.

Morning all, food shopping as part of my house husband duties this morning. Might put an extra pack of bog roll on the list although I’ve told Mrs Simon1963 if we have another shortage she will have to stamp her feet.

We offered 50k less on ours and they agreed at 30k less in the end.

In this market if you've got a buyer, keep hold of them!

Morning all. WFH this morning spending a bit of time with the family.

Massage this afternoon and then to pick up a new beer fridge for the garage. Although apparently it has to have food in it as well!

Took a similar hit on mine earlier this year Phil.

It's crazy but I want it sorted so just getting it done although there's a nice car to be had there but to be honest more important things ahead.

Morning all, morning Phil...Last day then off until the 10th.

Phil, that has suprised me as prices around here are holding firm and have gone up since coming out of lockdown. Properties are still selling well around here. As you say sometimes your first offer may be you best mate.

Morning all.

Ref house prices, 3 in a row over the road from us are all on the market / sold. (I think we said something!) One sold really fast (like in 2 weeks) One took some months (but it was a bit of a state inside) one's just gone on the market. I know what one of them sold for, and it was within a smidge of the asking price. The other sold so fast I can only assume it was close to asking as well.....

Odd really.

PT in an hour <groan>

Have a great day, all

C

Morning all.
First day starting back in lockdown and new attestation forms to work out covering everything from getting groceries and going for a walk.
Ms French can work as she supplies to businesses including a lot of farms and they can't stop working.
Ref my house prices had risen dramatically since I bought it so it's still made good money.
It's been a rental for over 6 years and buyers know that the garden especially is a mess.
Personally I reckon 15K tops to put it right paying tradesmen.
Living here is cheap so it's all swings and roundabouts.
Stay Safe all.
