Could be the handle could be the door module - try wd40 and dancing - after that get to a garage and get it diagnosed....if it’s the handle in chrome I can sell u one....as mine was the module!

Which button is not working? If neither I would say lock was the issue. As small is electric and large mechanical.

It’s the large button not working
Is it staying depressed and not pinging back out?

This will require flooding with silicone spray and working. It’s best to pull it out from the underside with a pick tool otherwise you will see the scratches if you do this on the topside.

If it’s returning but not opening the door then it’s more likely to be a rod that’s fallen off or the lock itself.

I had the same problem - you could hear the solenoid working when you squeezed the handle but it wouldn't open the door. The mechanical handle still worked though. Had to have the lock mechanism changed.

The large button appears to be out and not stuck in,but is fixed solid so no movement at all when try and press it in.

That suggests WD40 or silicone, or disassembly & reassembly might work.

In my case the large button moves slightly and makes a little noise, but the electric lock does not activate. The small manual button works fine, though. Just one more thing to add to the list....

Well WD40 unfortunately has made no difference, when i press the passenger door large button it sounds electrical like a solenoid not a mechanical sound ,no noise at all on drivers side large button.
