Try Castrol R; it may not shift the wax but should guarantee entry to VSCC meets when they restart - you'll smell lovely

Its still a free service on the NHS in Wales which I think you don't get in England now. Saved £70 so they can use what ever method they want
Well as expected I'm in line for another pay freeze next year as a public sector worker.
So that works out as one 2% rise since the last freeze in 2008. This despite all front line staff working throughout the pandemic and the loss of over 50 staff to Covid.
Yes... in fact worse as my pension contributions were increased by £250 pcm and I have 7 years added on to my retirement age as well (and less pension)... so probably have the same take home wage as I did in 2004.So say you earned £50k in 2008 you now earn £51k? No cost of living increase? No years of service increase? Nothing in 12 years?

Don't believe Gov hype that us Civil Servants have this and that and a gold plated pension... the words are just there to sway public opinion to supporting the next rounds of cuts in that profession.
Oh and MPs wage rise is still going ahead BTW.
So to sum up - Covid and the economic fallout is pretty much a disaster all round, public, private, retired or otherwise.About the same as the private sector then. I earn what I did in 2005 but at least the company you worked for for years didn’t go bust and take a load of your pension with it
You are dead right, many are complaining that theIr income has reduced, but they still have some income, even though It is reduced. But there are many in the UK that can not work from home, are not entitled to furlough, or for various reasons have absolutely no income at all, purely due to this pandemic. So to sum up - Covid and the economic fallout is pretty much a disaster all round, public, private, retired or otherwise.
I'm earning bugger all. Oil and gas has taken a real pounding with close to a 40% contraction. Travel is not feasible so I'm earning nothing and likely that way for a while.
Conjuring up a new career is a little difficult just now?
But onwards and upwards eh?!

Good morning everyone, Sunak was depressing yesterday but he's only the messenger. The last 8 months at LGW have been an obvious sign of what's to come. The average November day sees around 600 flights, today 26. These vaccines can't come quick enough.
You can despatch the demons by flushing with gin.Quite right, bruv. The Greta in me (which, I should note, is a massive hypocrite) would like to see fewer flights, but more than 26!
