£45k sounds about the mark to me. Nice car, and I’d take one of these over a standard GS Spyder.

Some years ago I drooled over a stunning yellow spyder with the same configuration including the tonneau/deck in Dick Lovett's showroom. Presumably not a 90th so I'm puzzled about its origin - anyone know?

This from Maserati's official photos:

It’s not £80k gents, he’s not insane.
It’s €80k which is £72k in today’s money. VRT is 36% so there will be a rebate of circa €25000 due to him when exported so that can come off as well. Much more sensible at £45-50k depending on where the owner needs to be.

This is the last RHD sold in the UK, was MINT, went within a few hundred of asking price:
Got it in one - The Irish price has to reflect the ridiculous tax system we have here.... my € price is ballpark what it would cost to import this car into Ireland...if you could find one!

And is see these cars on mainland Europe going for anything between early €70's to close to €100K.

Considering £10K spent in 2017, the final detailing work I am doing this year, the upgrades and spares, the mileage and the fact it has sailed through the Irish MOT equiv (which is far stricter than the UK system) price is reasonable.

The price if someone UK based or mainland Europe based wanted to buy from me would be considerably lower as I would get the VRT back on export.

Stunning car - I had the pleasure of constantly admiring one when helping on the Maserati stand at the last NEC Classic Motor Show - it attracted a lot of attention. And from what I gather Nayf's comment on its breeding is correct.

That was the one I sold. Belongs to the treasurer of the Maserati Club.

if indeed its a 4200 not a GS...does that suggest that it is factory 385BHP as opposed to 395BHP, given the different tune?

Looks like a lovely machine - some of the niceties of the Anniversary model may not be to everyone's taste, but I think they give it the edge over the GS.

The brochure ( product information & pricing ) I have lists QP, GS, Coupe, Spyder, then Spyder 90th Anniversary.
Prices effective 1st March 2005 which was about the beginning of the GS or were there some 2004 stock?

GS came out in the latter part of 2004 (54) alongside the 4200 Face-lift...........At least that is my understanding!

Try buying a Ferrari...... a decent 360 in the UK is in the £65-75K range.... if you wanted to import one today into southern Ireland add between £28K to £35K STG just to get a reg plate...(depending on which person you get in customs & revenue/ the day of the week/ where the sun is in the sky etc. etc. etc...) ... madness!

And now with Brexit add another 21% VAT on top....

Think if you want to import one into NI from Britain you now have to pay VAT on it too.

Lot of conversations on VAT on car purchases especially used, in theory VAT has already been paid within the EU and therefore it shouldn't be payable again. Used cars from Japan and US are subject to VAT here but that is because there was no original EU Vat payment. Its all a bit of a mess at the moment and there is a lack of clarity time will tell. VRT on cars under 30 years old has always been a blocker here, so much for harmonised trade across the EU

Am I right in thinking that the seat hump have a blue highlight in the carbon weave a la GS? Or have I imagined that?

I seem to remember them showing the Anniversary at the same Motorshows as the first GS so probably was at the same time.....

The listing indicates so:
"The car also incorporated a unique carbon fibre roof tonneau cover with attractive blue strands embedded into the weave, with a built in wind deflector and carbon-fibre rear roll-hoop fairings."

I thought it was black but if not everyday is a school day....
Dependant on car colour perhaps? This Grigio looks decidedly black:

That said, it looks black on this too:

Whereas, the roll bar on the same car:

80408

Was the weave colour(s) an option?
