That's lovely. As good a road car as Maserati have ever made. Go buy it Mark, before anyone else does, it's only just down the road!

BTW, when new, they only offered a half cage. So if someone fitted a fuller cage, they must have had it made specially.

It come up for sale a couple of months too early otherwise I would.

I have the brochure and options list in front of me now. The relevant choices were, a Roll Bar at £1920, or a Roll Bar plus 4-point harnesses at £2400.
There was no full cage option.

I remember the one I sat in at DL had side bars and was a git to get into.
Was Grigio Granito though with yellow callipers.
And harnesses as well.
seem to recall it had done 30k + even 4-5 years ago.

Shame it isn't Rosso Magma as I think deposit would have been down. Bit too black for me. Well I say a bit too black. It's all black.

I know a man who maybe selling his.......

But if he does. It will be to me. Unless I buy before hand.

LOL.....aha...but can you offer a nice downgrade option for him to keep his toe in the brand?

Is it Rosso Magma then?

I was tempted by the Centennial one that came up a while back but it was just too much dollar for me at the time.

You will have a long wait buddy for a Rossi Magma 2 seat Stradale like this one as they never made it in that colour.

I don't mind a 4 seater

Maybe the answer is a wrap in a nice rare unique colour. I have Yianni down the road

All, I spoke to James at VVS this morning. A really good guy who gave me a lot of time on the phone to run through a heap of questions. I asked for the Reg which is RX11 OPO which rang a bell as being the press car. It does look like then the alloys were swapped at some point then comparing it to the Top gear video and autocar review.

What would people's view be on an ex press car? My immediate thoughts were clutch and brake discs which I have asked for further detail on. It was confirmed that the brake pads and other bits have had an overhaul so new pads are on. Would it be likely Maserati would have put in a new clutch and discs when they retired the car and sold it?
