I have (somehow) manage to rescue not one, but both projects which were headed for the toilet bowl, one actually went down and was flushed!
A comeback of Lazerus proportions that one! Still it's not over the line yet, but at least it's back on the table!

Morning all. Awoke in excruciating pain in my right leg this morning, which I believe is the result of 3 hours on Zwift yesterday afternoon.
I could only gingerly walk on it after loads of stretching, and even then only just.
Feel like a pain where my thigh meets my buttock on the outside of my leg (approximately where your palm rests when your hands hang to your side).
But when I walk the pain is in my groin and the top of my knee.
Also when I walk up stairs it excruciating for the first few steps then is fine.

Think my body is falling apart!

A day of conference calls awaits today. So I'll probably have a sore throat by this evening!

Sounds like it might be sciatica or some other trapped nerve. Best to get it looked at as soon as feasible as permanent damage might be a result. Ibuprofen should help to reduce any inflammation if there is a trap.
If you have BUPA their Babylon service is pretty slick

I'm with Benenden, so have to get a doctors referral first!

Babylon is a virtual GP service so no referral needed. BUPA also have trained MSK people who can refer you to physio without a GP.

I'm a bit of a BUPA fanboi. I've had their health care (provide both personally and as various company benefits) for coming up on 20 years and they have, in every interaction been excellent. Treatment second to none and some very very good support services (even ones we should have used but didn't)

I know it's not cheap though! Mrs C and I scored continuation from our Experian corporate policy for £450 ish per month. Wasn't needed this year, but could well have been!

That’s not good Gc but Geez, isn’t it funny how the stars align!
You’re in luck!
Just so happens I have a very slightly worn hip joint that I was about to stick on scumtree for £10grand.
It’s been in the fridge for a week but seeing as how I know you,I’ll get it Oz post express to you for £2 grand.
I’m sure it’ll sort u out.
By the way I’ll also swap that fancy bike thing you have for one I’ve here with stabilizers on it.
Deal?

Knee pain is a classic sign of inappropriate saddle height. I can't remember how it works but I found the key to it online a few years ago when my new summer bike was incorrectly set up by the dealer (despite me riding on the computer machine thingy) with the saddle too low which revealed itself after a 70 mile ride when I could not walk the next day. Three hours is not long based on what you have said before so has your saddle dropped?
