Spyder in for scheduled winter works, Abarth booked in for a service today so obviously the BMW feels left out and throws on the engine management light!

Thankfully just a dodgy sensor but 3 cars and none available to drive!

The mind boggles. Probably the same type of person who moves to the country then moans about the smells, the cows mooing etc....
And the motorbikes.. Article in the paper on Saturday about someone complaining how noisy the Cotswold countryside was having moved out of London! Cows, sheep and motorbikes.... (and presumably the odd maser)

Don't get me started on the people who live near Brands Hatch or on the approach of an airport...

Very serious situation developing at Yasmins school. A concerned mother has reported.

“Flew Away” you gotta love kids :lol2:

If anyone spots it please let me know.

My wife had a heated discussion with a woman over a pair of shoes , she insisted the shoes my 6 year old son was wearing belonged to her son because he was wearing old shoes and she'd just bought new ones .

They were new but that was because we'd spent the dullest 30 minutes of our life in the shop with him

My wife took one off and showed him his name inside them

You've just written that in there

What, so he's come out of school , not stood still in the 5 minutes he's been playing with his friends and I've managed to pull a marker pen from somewhere and write his name in them

Really

She stomped off shouting I'll be taking this further

Now Lynne isn't one to let things go so next day this woman got the shop receipt stuffed up her nose

She still wasn't having it , somebody gave you that receipt

FFS , proper nasty , not the doctor I'd want treating me

People who move into Silverstone - The home of British Motor Racing, it says it on every sign into the village, and then complain about the sound of race cars and the traffic on race weekends.

True story relayed by a friend of Miss Dr Eb who was working as a guide at Windsor Castle. She was asked why the Queen would want to buid a home so close to Heathrow ......

That one was going around a quarter of a century ago when I lived nearby. Great story though as is the fact that the Queen has a Slough postcode which won't help resale.

Funnily enough having lived in the suburbs most of my life I thought exactly that when I moved to the country. It's amazing how loud a bull that is a mile away can be when it's on heat.

I don't get this hats thing with girls schools in Aus. Friends in Melbourne are always sending photos of their girls suitably attired and it seems a tad 1950s. Even most posh schools have ditched them in the UK now.

I suspect you have a little to learn about the countryside ;)

All kids wear hats......essential sun protection.
I now understand this and it was obvious but most obvious things are obvious, thanks! The other strange school attire one is in Tokyo where most of the girls schools have uniforms that have plaid/tartan skirts. Something to do with Billy Connolly?
