... was the right decision.Thai and Lanson at home then.
Morning.
So, walk into Pizza Express as booked for our anniversary...coats over heads and running to the door
He picks up a couple of menus and walks us out back to the courtyard area and said “you ok to sit in the rain?”

Thai and Lanson at home then.
Morning all.
Office for a bit this morning then back this afternoon.
I've come in for a rest. Not the greatest of weekends, the MiL had he op on Friday and lets say it's didn't go as planned.
A 24 hour coma, and now wired up to every machine known to medical science (it would seem).
The long on the short of it I saw Alex for a couple of hours Sunday night and a couple last night the only time we've seen her since Thursday.
Although I've loved spending time with Joseph, jeezzzz 3 year olds are hard work!
My local has been working for many months preparing for the outside opening, spent a fortune and done a fantastic job. So much so, that when inspected it was classed as enclosed, and they have been refused permission to open. To be honest, it was obvious to many that he had gone a bit overboard, but the owner wouldn’t listen, It will be OK ! I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t have to apply for retrospective planning permission, it’s basically another pub.My local closed at 3pm yesterday as the weather turned - 40mph + winds and rain, felt like autumn.
I was worried that the Gazebo we have had up in the garden for the past few months would turn into a box kite, but it seems to have weathered the storm just fine.
All messaging from the government indicated the brakes will be well and truly off come 21st June - but we shall have to wait and see.

A local cafe had an open-air courtyard surrounded by tall buildings, but they have built a series of little enclosures/sheds made of wood and bits of corrugated iron and clear corrugated plastic, so all their customers are isolated in little 'pods'. Seems very weird, but is quite effective. They look much worse than in this picture:

They look bad enough in the picture! There’s a rustic aesthetic and then there’s rougher than a badgers bottom wtf is going on with the bamboo?
At least non smokers now realize what smokers have had to put up with for years. Outside, cold and wet, nowhere as nice as that. Incidentally I don’t smoke. To be honest it looks quite nice except for the bamboo, the corrugated sheets and the tacky lanterns,A local cafe had an open-air courtyard surrounded by tall buildings, but they have built a series of little enclosures/sheds made of wood and bits of corrugated iron and clear corrugated plastic, so all their customers are isolated in little 'pods'. Is that the old mill that is also an educational centre for those with learning difficulties. They've always been scruffy bâstards (they used to run the local pub), but it goes down well in our rustic, green , upcycling part of the word. And they did me a terrific cooked breakfast on Saturday!
