It's just based on miles covered and fuel used.
My journeys locally are all within the battery range and I have 10 free charging points all within 5 miles at places I frequent.
We have covered 8k in it, which includes 3 trips to Cumbria and my drive to work (51 miles) which I do a couple of times a week.
Once you get the hang of it the hybrid system is a reasonable compromise. I use EV mode until I join the motorway and do not use the engine to recharge... fortunately work are installing plug in points too so it should get better miles per fuel soon.
If you are are interested make sure you get the newest possible as the batteries are improved year on year. Also make sure it is the top spec and is the top spec... too many are advertised as xxxx Pro and are not (the pro has matrix LED lights)
Oh and it is as quick as the GS 0-60!!!
