For the valve caps your better off with Marine grade white grease keep the copper grease for your brakes.
I use Coppaslip because I have a lifetime's supply. But yes, if I didn't....

So you sold the Bentley for a Mountain lion. How does it handle?
Not on the contact faces.I thought I wasn't supposed to put grease on my brakes???
Do you have a large amount or a short life expectancy?

I never liked the look of the rough side of the pads so always use the lovely shiny painted side. Mind you I think I need new ones as the stopping distance is shocking at the moment. I will try the copper slip to see if that helps with the grinding noise though.I just don't need that much
Back of the pads. Definitely not the front.
TBH things seem to change but I was always taught that a smear on the back of the pads helped them slide in, and slide out, but also helped with squeal.
It may not be recommended practice any more

A late mkI but otherwise looks very nicely spec'd and mint. Asking is adventurous though...
found it - not to worry! £28k.Sorry to kick up the embers of a relatively old thread - can anyone let me know the price V&P were offering this car for? Am looking to get into a QP but it needs to be mint mint and this one seems to be the best out there so a handy guide on price, albeit pre facelift and ideally Id want a 4.7. (not sure I am that bothered as long as its ZF tbh). thanks in advance!
