Well there is a dark blue one around my neck of the woods (one of my team saw it dropping off child at local private school near Middlesbrough)

There are private schools near Middlesbrough?! Who knew?;)
You joke but Yarm is a pretty good school, some of my relations went there. In fact to widen it out I know a few youngsters who went there who have done a lot better then other friends kids who went to Sherborne (boys).

A friend of mine went to Yarm. Though I'd never heard it before then, and have no idea where it is. So, near Middlesbrough is the answer to that!
(He's done perfectly well and is now working for the Renault F1 team.)

Yep, just like houses, schools are often not where you would expect them to be. When I lived in the Royal Borough (the weekend one) I was always a bit taken aback about how close Eton is to somewhere a tad less desirable.

All these noveau riche types are giving their houses poncy names like Windsor Castle, trying to disguise the fact they’ve got a Slough postcode.

Yep, I was surprised that my postcode started SL but if it is good enough for the queen....

Having an SL postcode has long been the amusing annoyance of people living in Gerrards Cross. I remember when I was a kid there was an attempt to change it.

you mean Slough Grammar!

I used to work with someone who was very upset when we talked about him living in Slough (He lived in Farnham Royal, which is practically a suburb!
