Thanks, very much! Mentioned all this in another thread, and the idea of starting a new one on the topic was raised...That’s absolutely wonderful! They are beautiful creatures and obviously very well looked after - they look so happy! Thank you for sharing!
Love it all...esp. the Ringo bit. Was just harping on how he & Paul are somehow what we got left with (pls no hate if The Cute One was your favorite!) No, no, no, no I don't (sniff) no more...I'm tired of waking up on the floor...View attachment 105126
Maybe you could launch a kid's television programme.
Get Ringo to do the voice overs.
But, if you do get Ringo. You'll need subtitles in English.
Or. You could go for topical and political. Tell me these two aren't dead ringers for each other.

With a mullet like his. The alpaca is a shoe-in for Donald. The ducks could be the January 6th Committee.
and Liz Cheney could be played by the pup. Cause they're both off-blonde, cute and impeccably turned out.
I need a hobby. Obvs
yes...must have at least a pair; they will literally die from loneliness, even amongst other animals. They can be left to their own devices, with automatic waterers and enough hay, although we always have a hand with things here if we are going to be away more than 24 hours.Lovely. Quite fancy Alpaca's but no where to put them. And what do you do with them when you are away?
Apparently you need more than one, and you need to keep the the sexes apart otherwise they are just constantly at it!

Don't think I'd advertise that on a public forum, but each to their own and all that.Lovely. Quite fancy Alpaca's but no where to put them.
They sound fantastic!yes...must have at least a pair; they will literally die from loneliness, even amongst other animals. They can be left to their own devices, with automatic waterers and enough hay, although we always have a hand with things here if we are going to be away more than 24 hours.
The mating ritual, as i think I mentioned, can be somewhat disturbing...it involves the male humming, loudly, until the female decides to be willing and...er, assume the position. And then the male...continues to hum. For like 20 minutes. Or more...until the Deed is done and dismount occurs.
Once pregnant, or pushed far enough, the girls will not respond to the humming very favorably...spitting generally ensues, although I've witnessed some rather sharp kicks as well...
Can you eat them?
Must remember not to hum near an alpaca...
Do we have members from the Chubut Valley in Argentina?I'm sure that there are those here that will.....
