I would not like to take a lake/med/coast boat like a Princess V40 across the Bay of Biscay. Or worse still past Gibraltar, round the Cabo da Roca, and into the Atlantic.

I was wrong was a v-39. Copy the title into the search bar on you tube. Think there is about 5 videos on journey back
I must say this has got my attention. I haven't seen another in this colour.
A part of me is thinking about putting a bid in... but the sensible side of me is very wary about buying a car like this from an auction without a ppi.
Out of interest, what do people think is a fair market value price for this car?
Did they respond to your comment privately? The car seemingly has had neither a new clutch or brake pads, somewhere in the region of 5K !!??
I too really like it, but I think I'd prefer a black one as boring as that is.
My estimate would be £60k including their very large fees.
In this market I feel the reserve will be about £56k and it will get bid up to about £48k so won't even sell.

Agreed, Andy, it's a cracking colour. This is my favourite colour on the Centenary model. It is called Grigio Pietra. In the flesh it looks stunning as it is three stage pearl paint. I may be wrong but I am pretty sure there is only one in that colour in the UK. This car has been for sale a few times at deferent dealers and think Dicky may know of the car or have seen this at some point as he may have been offered it or know something about it.

Yep, I think it will get bid up to about £44k and not be anywhere near the reserve.Yes. Still, it'll be interesting to see where it finishes, but I imagine not many fingers from around where will be hovering over the 'place bid' button.

I think you're right. If it was mine the reserve would be much higher. Whatever the history, it's a lovely looking car.Yep, I think it will get bid up to about £44k and not be anywhere near the reserve.
