turn key to lock in drivers door, light flashes, noise heard, disconnect the battery, alarm goes off 1 sec later... will try the disarm...

yeah it does, unless the battery is totally drained, and whatever is keeping the alarm alive is also drained.

Cool thanks chaps, will try that, key method doesn't work as alarm arms when key is turned. Will try the other option tho!

There are two buttons above the rear view mirror. When the motor is running press them one at a time - they will flash for about 2-3secs...
