Oh, I don't know. I kinda really like my Z3M

    Breakdown Insurance

Good point. Wish I'd thought about that!

    Breakdown Insurance

Yep, I thought about that. No age stipulation in the t's and c's. Seems pretty straight forward.

    Breakdown Insurance

I tried it with the AA, absolutely no chance of reducing the premium. No discounts for loyalty.

    Breakdown Insurance

Hello all. Thought I would share my recent experience. Currently have two dailies and a classic. This past year I have been with the AA for personal cover for me and the mrs. Cover includes home start, roadside assistance and national recovery. Premium last year was £102. Renewal for this year...

    Maserati Insurance

I found Locktons to be pretty good with very easy agreed valuations. They accept purchase invoice as a valuation. They do tend to be slightly more expensive than Classicline who tend to be very competitive. You require to submit current photos for agreed value.

Something Slightly Different! BMW Z3m coupe.

Excellent, I thought there would folk out there with some experience of these cars. Thanks for your comments, really helpful. The car is a 2000 S50. Its had replacement Vanos and features KW suspension upgrade. I've got it booked into my local Edinburgh specialist to have a look. The chap...

Something Slightly Different! BMW Z3m coupe.

On a bit of a break from Masers, and decided to try something slightly bonkers. I recently saw one of these at a show and fell in love. Ended up having a day trip from Edinburgh to Cornwall (dont!), resulting in the purchase of a Estoril blue bread van. I reckon this is the 3200 of bimmers! Any...

Hi there. Just fishing really, but I came across the coupe forum and wondered if it was yourself that had owned a z3m coupe? I'm really keen on buying one and currently looking at one seriously in Wales. I'm a bit spooked by the whole boot floor issue. Cheers Gordon

Ok, what would you go for?

It's a problem many of us share! With regard to the Elan, is the S2 significantly better than the earlier models? Might give it a whirl.

Stuff you've found on TV worth watching

Funnily enough that's exactly what my wife said. The barrister was all over the news about how insulted he felt. Tbh I thought he was a dick!

Stuff you've found on TV worth watching

Yeah, a bit unfortunate, especially when it's disclosed that the chap is dyslexic. A serious case of foot and mouth!

Stuff you've found on TV worth watching

Absolutely one of the best things on the telly! I know Clarkson is a divisive character (apparently) however this series shines a light on come real issues with humour. As someone who has to deal with the planning system and local govt all the time, I'm amazed folk don't speak out more...

    Salt!

Salt is a killer! It plays havoc with cast alloy parts like gearbox casings etc. I've seen 20 year old 911s with immaculate chassis and bodywork but anything alloy is a real mess. A local chap can soda blast but not sure how you can retain the finish. I've seen an even older Japanese import BMW...

Anyone found a good interesting to drive but still comfortable practical daily?

I fancied a Rapide and had a good look. Sorry, not practical at all in my opinion. Limited room in the back and the boot space is laughable. Seriously, I think there is more luggage space in a Boxster! In saying that, the AM is lovely.
