    Hello from Scottish Highlands

Not a Maserati owner at the moment, but we do look after one of our customer's Spyder here in Kingussie. Feel free to call in if you're passing.

    Sportsitalia…the end

How far would folk travel for a good Maserati specialist? @conaero, we're desperate for qualified mechanics up here in the Highlands, so come up and join us. We have at least one Maserati here in the village of Kingussie that comes in to us, but room for more

    Sportsitalia…the end

By the way, it is possible for multiple people to combine pensions into one pot to do something like this but I don't know the detail as it wasn't necessary for me.

    Sportsitalia…the end

This may be a non-starter depending on what you have squirrelled away in pensions. I combined all of mine into a SIPP and used it to buy a commercial property through my pension fund. I then set up a separate legal entity called Gray's Auto Services Limited which leases the commercial property...

Giallo Grantourismo Gransport (The Banana) SOLD

I've never been a fan of the rear tail lights on the 4200 etc models but this looks absolutely stunning, and I *love* the yellow despite being allergic to bananas. I'm trying to work out what I have to sell to buy it... :love1:

    3200 GT Selling Guide?

    I wanted a 3200 in 2007 and bought a CLK55AMG instead....older and apparently wiser, I find myself looking at Maserati's again o_O

    3200 GT Selling Guide?

I guess the first thing is to be realistic. The pool of 3200 buyers is diminishingly small for a whole host of reasons; economy, ULEZ, running costs, perceived maintenance challenges etc. On the other hand, if you find someone in a position to be able to consider your vehicle, be open and...

    Autotrader price indicators

Ultimately with rare/unusual vehicles it's what it's worth to you vs what someone will offer you for it. I have a 1988 VW Transporter Single Cab Pickup with a 2.1i engine, 5 speed manual, 65k miles, mint interior and exterior, and I'm the third owner. To *me* it's worth at least £18k if not...

Maserati 4200/Gransport values - will they ever change?

Like someone else said above, "Depreciation is back baby". I very nearly bought a '00 3200 in 2006 but got scared off by the (very honest) vendor warning me that if a part goes wrong it may take months to come from Italy. As it was my only car back then, I bought a CLK55AMG instead. I had a...

Maserati 4200/Gransport values - will they ever change?

To be fair, the minimum age to rent a Maserati would be 30 but I take your point...

Maserati 4200/Gransport values - will they ever change?

They can be but they are more of a "known quantity" and parts are pretty easy to get hold of. I've been warned off manual Maserati's due to clutch wear and the fact they are heavy. Maybe the answer is to buy a 3200 for myself and not rent it out :)

Maserati 4200/Gransport values - will they ever change?

As a sideline, I'm about to offer "modern classic" rental here in the Highlands and have bought a 98 Alfa Spider, a 99 Porsche Boxster and a 05 Mini Cooper for this. Personally, I've always had a hankering for a 3200 and have been trying to justify buying one, but even owning a garage I am a...

    Alfa Spiders and a GTV

So if I'd posted this on Thursday you might have called in at the garage to say hello. Darn. The green spider is lovely, drives very well too :)
